Amazon Books integrates offline shopping with the benefits of the Amazon.com community to help you find items you’ll love—books, devices, toys, games and more. As one of two designers on the Amazon Books team, I own over 400 unique pieces of creative per quarter, spanning both printed and digital mediums. I regularly collaborate with key stakeholders in merchandising and marketing to ensure that we are creating a great customer experience and effectively communicating Amazon’s best products and deals. End to end I own the project management, conception, execution and presentation of various creative.
Mother’s Day 2018
I led the design exploration, concepting and execution of Mother’s Day 2018 in our nationwide stores. By partnering with key stakeholders throughout Amazon Books, I was able to create a visually interesting concept that was anchored in the window signage and carried throughout the store, one of the first times we have done that in store. This was done in two ways: one, with a theme centered around different types of “moms”: Book lover, tech savvy, kitchen connoisseur, creative genius or entertainment seeker. The other way was creatively, with an infinite watercolor concept in which the watercolor background spanned the entire window front.
